FAQ
Playing our competitions is simple, follow these 3 easy steps:
(1) Create an account by clicking here,
(2) Once logged into your account, choose the competition(s) you wish to enter,
(3) Select the number of tickets you wish to purchase, answer the question (only correct answers will be entered into the draw), proceed to checkout.
If the competition has not sold out, the live draw will still take place on the stated date and time regardless. This just means you get a better chance of winning!
We use RandomPicker to pick our competition winner. These draws can be watched live from our Facebook page.
Our standard maximum entries, per user, are set to 25 for each competition, however, some competitions may be even more limited. Please check the specific competition stats to view the maximum ticket amount for that specific competition.
Anyone who’s at least 18 years of age and a UK resident can play our competitions!
You can either enter online through our website or free via post. Please see ‘How do I enter a Competition by post?’ for more information.
A free entry option is available for all entrants by sending a postal entry.
To enter for free by postal entry, you must first create an account on the website. Then, choose the competition you wish to enter and send your full name, full address, email address (used on your account), contact telephone number and your answer to the competition question (if there is one).
Free entries must be posted to: Top Prize Competitions Limited, 71 Claremont Avenue, Beverley Road, Hull, HU6 7LZ. First or second class postage must be paid by the entrant (hand delivered entries will not be accepted and will not be entered into the random draw. Free postal entries are limited to one ticket per postal entry received. You may make multiple free entries for any competition (up to any limit placed on entries per competition) but each free entry must be submitted and posted separately. Bulk entries in one envelope will not be accepted as multiple entries and if a bulk entry is received, it will be counted as one single entry.
Free postal entries received whilst the competition is still open will be entered into the draw and will be treated exactly the same as a paid entry. Any free postal entries received after the competition has closed will not be entered into the draw. You will get confirmation by email when your entry has been entered into the draw. Proof of posting does not guarantee that you will be entered into the random draw.
Free postal entries with incomplete information will not be entered into the draw. We will not acknowledge receipt of your entry nor confirm if your answer to the competition question is correct.
The promoter will not be held responsible for any lost free postal entries which don’t arrive at the promoter’s address.
The promoter will not be held responsible for any free postal entries which do not arrive before the competition closes. A competition may close due to all entries being allocated or the countdown timer of the competition reaching zero.
By entering the competition, you are confirming that you are eligible to enter and accept the terms and conditions.
You must be a member to play our competitions. The sign-up process takes less than a minute!
This depends on how many tickets are up for sale on the particular competition. For example, if 100 tickets are available in total and you purchase 20 tickets, you will have a 1 in 5 chance of winning the competition, or even better if it doesn’t sell out!
You will then not be entered into the live draw.
Our competitions run for a fixed number of days, and the duration of each competition is specified on our website.
All entries are final and you will not be able to withdraw from a competition after you have entered.
The draw date and time will be stated on each competition.
You will receive an e-mail or a call congratulating you! You will also be able to see your name printed on the website as a winner, and if you managed to miss all the announcements, you’ll also likely be put up on social media as a winner. It is super important that you keep your email and telephone details up to date – if we are unable to contact a winner within 21 days of a Competition ending, we reserve the right to re-run the draw and pick a new winner.
You can view the number of tickets you have in your account in the top right corner of the screen. You will also be able to see your spent tickets in the member area.
If you have any problem whatsoever with the prize, from its delivery to the quality of the prize itself, then please don’t hesitate to get in contact with us right away by email and we will do our very best to solve the situation right away!
We will either hand-deliver the prize or use a courier to deliver all our prizes. Should the prize be too large or valuable to send by mail, we will arrange for it to be delivered personally.
You will receive the prize that is specified in each competition, and normally there will be no cash alternative available. On occasion, we might offer you cash, and this is entirely at our own discretion.
Absolutely! We would love to hear any prize suggestions you might have – please contact us by either sending us an email, or dropping us a private message on Facebook or Instagram!
If we are unable to contact a winner within 21 days of a competition ending and the prize is not claimed within this time, then we reserve the right to re-run the draw and pick a new winner.
Every time you purchase a ticket on our website, you will receive a confirmation email of your activity.
The winner is selected via RandomPicker.
Top Prize Competitions could not, does not, and will never have any access or control over the outcome of the draw.
We are a good-natured company and will never ask anyone to participate in any unreasonable publicity requests. We would be grateful if you would send us a winner’s photo, and permission to place this photo on our website.
Your data is secure and we adhere to the Data Protection Act 2018 in how we store and use data. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
No need to worry! If you have lost or forgotten your password, just go to the ‘sign in’ page and then click ‘reset password’. If you’ve forgotten the email associated with your account, then please do get in contact with us we will help you with recovering your account.
You can close your account at any time by contacting us.
Prices of entry may vary but there will always be competitions that are affordable and inclusive for all!
We use secure, encrypted connections across our website and do not hold your card details on our servers. Our payment providers are fully PCI and ISO compliant, and we leave all of the financial processing to them. Top Prize Competitions will never see, store or share any of your financial data.
Currently, we only accept card payments.
